Padel is a dynamic racket sport combining elements of tennis and squash, typically played in doubles on an enclosed court. Using solid paddles and a low-compression ball, players hit shots off the walls to keep the rally going. It’s fast-paced, easy to learn, and encourages long rallies — making it fun and accessible for all.
To play padel, you’ll need a padel racket (solid, no strings), padel balls (slightly less pressure than tennis balls), and a glass-walled court. Comfortable non-marking shoes and breathable activewear are also recommended. Many players carry wristbands, grips, and water bottles to stay comfortable on court.
Padel is played in doubles on a 10x20m court. The ball must bounce before hitting the glass walls, and volleys are allowed (except on the return of serve). Scoring follows tennis rules: 15, 30, 40, and game. Serves must be underhand, and players can use the walls to return the ball, adding strategic depth to the game.
